Week of January 23-27, 2017

Welcome to another fantastic week at Ac2E Middle School.  This week in 7th grade reading will be one busy busy week.  It is the third week of the 4th Six Weeks and we have many things to accomplish.  We will continue to read the novel 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas' by John Boyne.  We will also continue to work on figurative language and how to identify the different types of figurative language in a text.  Here is the schedule for the week:

MONDAY:

• Figurative Language sorting activity in interactive notebook
• HOMEWORK
• Read chapter 7 and answer questions

TUESDAY:

• Continuation to Figurative Language sorting activity in interactive notebook 
• HOMEWORK
• Read chapter 8 and answer questions

WEDNESDAY:

• Figurative Language
• review for mini assessment
• HOMEWORK
• Read chapter 9 and answer questions

THURSDAY

• 4th Six Weeks Mini Assessment

FRIDAY

• STAAR READY lesson 3
• Comparisons and Connections
