Week of October 19-23, 2015

     Welcome to another fabulous week at Ac2E Middle School.  This week will be a very busy week for all students especially 7th graders.
     In 7th grade Reading we will finish taking our final exam on the novel 'The Outsiders' we will also begin a new novel, 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas' by John Boyne.  Everyone must have this novel no later than Tuesday, October 20, 2015!

MONDAY:

• Finish 'The Outsiders' Final Exam

TUESDAY:

• Introduction to 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas'
• video clip on The Halocaust 
• KWL chart
• HOMEWORK: read chapter 1 & answer chapter 1 questions.

WEDNESDAY:

• 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas'
• Story Devices foldable activity (interactive notebook)
• HOMEWORK: read chapter 2 & answer chapter 2 questions.

THURSDAY:

• 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas'
• Character Traits
• Bruno
• HOMEWORK: read chapter 3 & answer chapter 3 questions.

FRIDAY:

• 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas'
• Character Analysis foldable activity (interactive notebook)

REMINDERS:

• Turn in all homework on time
• $25 for Peter Piper lock in is due ASAP
• Wear Orange on Wednesday's to support anti-bullying month
• Wear Pink on Friday's to support Breast Cancer Awareness month
• $5 donation for Fall Festival due Friday!
