Week of February 20-24, 2017!

Welcome to another great week at Ac2E Middle School.  This week in 7th grade reading we will be finishing our novel 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas' by John Boyne.  We will be working on a PLOT map activity and reviewing for the final exam of the novel.  The final novel exam will be on Thursday.  We will also be going to the STARR COUNTY YOUTH FAIR on Friday.  Let's have a great week!

Week of February 13-17, 2017

Welcome to another GREAT week at Ac2E Middle School.  I am very proud of all the my 7th graders who did an exceptional job in their 'I Am' poems/projects.  You all surprised me with your imagination and creativity.  These projects will be displayed in my classroom and in the 7000 hallway. 
This week in 7th grade reading we will continue reading our novel 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas' by John Boyne.  We will also be working with our interactive notebook and studying the different parts in a Drama. 

Monday:

• Parts of a Drama foldable activity in interactive notebook 
• HOMEWORK
• Read chapter 15 and answer questions (due Thursday)

Tuesday:

• 7th Grade Writing District Benchmark

Wednesday:

• 4th Six Weeks Common Assessments
• Reading
• Math

 Thursday:

• Parts of  drama activity
• HOMEWORK
• Read Ch. 16 and answer questions

Friday:

• STAAR READY lesson 7
• HOMEWORK
• Read Ch. 17 and answer questions (due Monday)

Week of February 7-10, 2017!

Welcome to another great week at Ac2E Middle School.  This week in 7th grade reading we will continue to read our novel 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas' by John Boyne.  We will also work in our interactive notebooks and analyze the three different types of irony: verbal irony; dramatic irony; situational irony.  Don't forget the 'I AM' poem is due Friday, February 10th!
