Week of March 30 - April 3, 2015

Welcome to another great week at Ac2E Middle School. This week will be a very intense and busy week for all of us Falcons! We will be administering the STAAR assessments and also be released for the Easter Holiday. In 7th grade reading we are officially done reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J. K. Rowling. We will also be reviewing for the final novel exam that will be taken at the end of the week. 

MONDAY:

7th grade Writing STAAR day 1

Students will report straight to testing site

TUESDAY:

7th grade Writing STAAR day 2

Students will report straight to testing site

WEDNESDAY:

Review for Harry Potter novel exam

THURSDAY:

Harry Potter final novel exam

FRIDAY:

Early release - Easter Holiday!

REMINDERS:

Come to school prepared and on time on testing days!!!

Turn in all missing work by the end of the week!!!!

Thursday is college shirt day. 

Friday is spirit shirt day. 

$$$$ for end of year field trip is due April 3,2015!!!

Friday early release. 

Monday - no school 

Classes resume: Tuesday, April 7. 

Week of March 23-27, 2015

Welcome to another glorious week here at Ac2E Middle School.  This week in 7th grade reading will be one busy week!!!! First of all on Monday we will be traveling to Kingsville, Texas to visit Texas A&M University - Kingsville.  We will finish reading the novel "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and we will also continue to work on STAAR reading strategies.  This week will also be the last week for the Writing Clinics with Mr. Patino.

REMINDERS:

• Discussion Questions are due on Thursday!
• $$$$ for end of year field trip is due ASAP!
• College T-shirt day is on Thursday.
• Spirit T-shirt day is on Friday.
• Writing STAAR will be administered on Monday and Tuesday of next week!

         Welcome back from Spring Break!  I hope everyone had a very restful and enjoyable Spring Break, now it is time to get back to work.
         This week in 7th grade Reading we will cover many things.  We will continue to practice our STAAR Reading strategies and also continue reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling.
