Week of May 16-20, 2016

TWO more weeks until Summer!!!!! I'm sure all of you are very anxious to begin your summer vacations but we still have two more weeks of school left.  This week we will continue to read HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS. 7th Graders will also be traveling to Schlitterbahn Water Park in South Padre Island, TX for our end of year field trip on THURSDAY.  We encourage all of you to come to school everyday, attendance is crucial!

Week of May 9-13, 2016

STAAR is finally here!!!!  We have been working extremely hard to get to this point.  I know all of my 7th grade reading students will surpass all of my expectations.  Remember to get enough rest and to concentrate throughout the entire exam.  GOOD LUCK! You will do great!!!!

Week of May 2-6,2016

Can you believe it's already May!!!! We are almost at the finish line and I know that everyone of my 7th graders will exceed my expectations when they take the STAAR EXAM. We only have 4 more instructional days. 

Week of April 18-22, 2016

This week in 7th grade reading we will be finishing the novel 'Tuck Everlasting'  by Natalie Babbitt.  We will also be practicing for the upcoming STAAR exams.

Week of April 11-15, 2016

This week will another busy busy week in 7th grade Reading.  We will continue to work on STAAR materials in order to ensure that we are extremely prepared from eh STAAR exam in May. ONLY 3 MORE WEEKS!!!!  We will also continue reading the novel 'Tuck Everlasting' by Natalie Babbitt.  We are almost done with this novel......What do you think so far? Do you think Mae will get sent to the gallows? Do you think Winnie will drink the water from the spring to make her immortal?

Week of April 4-8, 2016!

Welcome to another GREAT week at Ac2E Middle School.  Can you believe there is only 8 more week of school left! And only 5 more weeks for the 7th Grade Reading STAAR exam.  This week will be a busy and very productive week for all of us Falcons.  We will be taking District Benchmarks and continuing to prepare ourselves for the upcoming STAAR exams.
